Not long now – and if you haven’t got your tickets yet, don’t miss out!
So, just over 50 days to go and planning for this year’s show continues apace.
As you may seen on Facebook we’ve been busy getting the new grass strip ready so we can accommodate visiting aircraft, and behind the scenes we are all beavering away making sure that everything is ready so you enjoy a fantastic day on Saturday 6 June.
An important reminder that if you haven’t yet bought your tickets then you should waste no more time and get them now – because the event is advance ticket only and you won’t be able to buy them on the day. All the information you need is HERE.
As we write this there is just one place left in our photography enclosure and tickets for our fundraising ball are also available from our online shop. That’s going to be a great night with some brilliant guests and a lot of fun!
In the coming weeks you will hopefully see and hear even more about the airshow as we are currently putting together a campaign of local radio coverage – and you might even hear Angus’s dulcet tones as we arrange an interview or two for the man himself! In terms of seeing it, if you are able to display a poster or posters, click here to download it now – your support is much appreciated.
We have still got more to tell you about with regards to the flying display itself, but we are also making sure that the list of ground entertainments is as full as possible, so that way the whole family is guaranteed to enjoy a great day out.
At the moment we have the likes of:
Rally car rides, monster truck rides, simulators, karting, climbing wall, laser shooting, military tanks and vehicles, customised trucks, visiting aircraft, face painting, Army and Air Cadets, military recruitment, St John’s Ambulance, Mercedes Benz Club, Lotus / Caterham, Morgan three-wheelers, Midlands Fire and Rescue, BDV Recovery, Robinson’s Pink Trucks of Worcester, emergency services role demo, West Mercia Police, first responders, Boing Inflatables and much more to come!
Phew – that’s quite a list already, so don’t miss out, get those tickets bought and remember that the show benefits five great causes!
In case you missed it, so far we have announced the following for the flying display:
Avro Vulcan XH558 – Vulcan to the Sky
Pitts Special S1-S – Lauren Richardson
Supermarine Spitfire XIX PS853 – Rolls Royce
Jet Provost T3 – Neil McCarthy
Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane – BBMF
Grob Tutor – Flt Lt Andy Preece Royal Air Force
Gyroplane – Peter Davies
Muscle Biplane – Rich Goodwin

Pretty good, we think, and we might even manage another announcement or two yet. Watch this space……
Thanks for all the support so far, and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday 6 June.
